Just My Picture of the Week: Hong Kong Trams

The historic Double Decker Streetcars of Hong Kong.  These trams have been meandering their way around the streets of Hong Kong since 1904.  They are an affordable means of transport and offer a unique way of experiencing this vibrant city.  Touch on with your Octopus Card and enjoy the ride – be warned they can get pretty busy in peak periods so be prepared well in advance of your stop – the drivers don’t tend to wait for you!

Hong Kong Tram

A ubiquitous symbol of Hong Kong, the Double Decker Trams. Slowly meandering their way along the streets on the Island. Not the fastest way to see the city but a classic part of Hong Kong’s past.
